This week’s focus for Connect 3 is Summer Activities. With many summer camps being closed or going online and uncertainty about what the upcoming school year will look like, it continues to be a challenging time for our country. So, as we head into summer days, we offer these ideas for activities and reflection.
1: Students
As young people engage in Summer Reading for pleasure or school, select a book from our collection of children's and young adult literature that focus on the themes of identity, culture, bias and social justice.
Since families are spending more time at home and together this summer, we offer our new resource, Thinking about Social Justice through Crafts and Conversation, where you'll find hands on activities that weave in the themes of respect, identity, diversity and social justice.
Best wishes for safety and good health to all. We hope you have an enjoyable summer!
Discover best practices for addressing and
