Team Wittman had another great month visiting friends and neighbors across the district, including making stops in Hanover, Westmoreland, Chesterfield, Lancaster, Middlesex, and much more! Here are a few snapshots from the road: |
→The Ashland Strawberry Faire was a great opportunity for our community to come together in Hanover County. The Ashland Strawberry Faire was started in 1982 to support local non-profits, and profits from the Faire go to the Faire’s Scholarship Program for Hanover County Public High School students and to Randolph-Macon College students. |
→ Colonial Beach Annual Potomac River Festival is one of the oldest festivals in Virginia; it was a joy to be part of this cherished tradition. Thank you to the amazing volunteers and the Colonial Beach Chamber of Commerce for putting together such a wonderful event filled with community, fun, and celebration. |
→ Kicking Off Summer the Right Way What better way to welcome summer than with a good old-fashioned cookout? Instead of gathering indoors for their monthly meeting, the Hanover GOP Committee took the June meeting outside to Carter Park for a Summer Social Picnic — and it was a hit! With hot dogs, cold drinks, sweet desserts, and plenty of camaraderie, it was the perfect setting to connect with friends and neighbors. This is how we build strong communities and an even stronger future. |
→ Chesterfield County Celebrates in Style The Chesterfield County GOP held its annual gathering with over 300 in attendance to celebrate our President’s Birthday Dinner — and we did it in style! Set against the stunning backdrop of The Hidden Oaks in North Chesterfield — a breathtaking 55-acre venue — guests enjoyed a powerful evening of fellowship and food. The highlight of the night? A rousing keynote address from Tom Fitton, bestselling author and president of Judicial Watch, who fired up the crowd with a message of accountability and defending our Constitution. |
→ A Strong Start to the Day with First District Republicans! Team Wittman had a great time joining the First District Republican Committee for their recent meeting, and we’re grateful for the warm hospitality and delicious breakfast buffet at the Pilot House Inn in Topping, VA! We had productive conversations, shared our vision for keeping Virginia strong, and topped it all off with our brand-new Wittman for Congress car magnets — already spotted on the roads across the district! →What a great turnout for this Celebration! It was fantastic seeing so many friends at the Middlesex County Courthouse for the Red, White, and Blue Celebration. Huge thanks to the Middlesex County Republican Committee, everyone who participated, and those who honked, waved, and cheered us on! |
