At the beginning of the month, my team and I set a goal to raise $5000 before June 30 to cover our operating and communications costs. We’ve already raised nearly 20% of our goal so far. Can you chip in $25 to help us reach our goal before the end-of-month deadline?

Last week, activist and scholar Angela Davis said we’re in an extraordinary moment. Now more than ever, it’s on each of us, legislators and community members alike, to do our part in the fight against the hate and bigotry which still resides in our country.

For me, that means communicating with constituents about their needs and connecting with advocacy groups about policy change. Then, my team and I work to advance meaningful change in the General Assembly to make our communities safer and more equitable for all Virginians.

Since day one, grassroots donors, volunteers, and supporters have fueled our work. Your donations have allowed us to remain committed to our values and fight for the changes folks across our commonwealth need.

We’ve seen the calls for justice ring across the nation, and I don’t intend to slow down our fight for change in Virginia anytime soon.
