** John,
------------------------------------------------------------
On the last day of June, the Trump administration announced they are holding back nearly $6.8 billion in federal funding for our K–12 schools.
Help power our fight to protect funding for our schools. ([link removed])
That’s money meant to support students, teachers, and classrooms across the country — including in under-resourced communities that rely most on federal support. It’s critical money that schools rely on to go toward before and after school programs, English-learner services, professional development, and more. And now it’s gone.

This isn’t just a bureaucratic delay — it’s a decision with real consequences for real families. And it’s yet another reminder of how urgently we need leaders who put children and education before politics.
As someone who proudly attended public schools, I know how critical these funds are. I’m committed to doing everything I can in Washington to fight for the resources our students and teachers need to thrive.
And I know I’m not in this alone.
SUPPORT TODAY ([link removed])
When we come together — parents, educators, and everyday people who are about the next generation — we can push back against these setbacks and build a public education system that truly serves every child.
Will you chip in today to help power this movement forward? ([link removed])
We may be facing challenges, but I believe in the power of community. Together, we can ensure every student gets the education and support they deserve.
In Solidarity,
Delia
