Dear ,

Today is a special day for us as we celebrate 7 years as the Ayni Institute! We are beyond grateful to life and all the people that have encouraged and inspired us since our birth. We would not have been able to fulfill our mission without the continued support and guidance of so many.

Our mission over these last 7 years has been to support strategic movement building and the voices, teachings, projects and perspectives of Indigenous traditions. We feel grateful to have had much success in fulfilling our mission. We have learned deeply from our Indigenous elders and produced their educational materials. We have seen so many organizations born and grown from our contributions. We have witnessed new political breakthroughs, supported many groups across the world through coaching and training, and have brought thousands of people together.

During the past 2 years we have reflected and felt the coming of a new mission and journey for us. A journey in which we have to let some things go in order to hold onto new beginnings.

That is why today we are announcing that we are taking a sabbatical in order to renew our spirits, hear our new mission and restructure our work.

This means that we are taking time to work internally as an institute and will be creating boundaries to limit any external work. We'll be back this fall. Meanwhile, if you're interested in receiving coaching and/or training we encourage you to fill out this form ([link removed]) . We'll respond once we return in the fall.

For us, this time is sacred as we understand that our work is part of a larger transition that is taking place in the world. We must evolve in order to be part of the many movements that will usher this great transition. We ask for your prayers and your support ([link removed]) for us in this journey.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who joined our Summer Solstice virtual gathering last weekend and to our elders for guiding us in celebration.
