Trump and DOGE made devastating cuts to NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, which houses the National Weather Service – and now we might be seeing the consequences.

The National Weather Service is responsible for providing weather forecasts and warnings to people across the country. Their work saves lives!

But if these agencies aren’t fully staffed and able to alert communities about dangerous storms as early and often as possible, the consequences can be deadly.

We are in the midst of hurricane season with life-threatening storms sweeping across the nation. We need NOAA and the National Weather Service fully operational!

We strive to support the next wave of progressive and unapologetic Black candidates who will usher in a sea of change in our political system while helping America fulfill its promise of democracy by creating a government that will truly be for the people and of the people.
