Dear Friend,
Children and families still need your voice. Last month, we asked our generous supporters to urge Congress to reject proposed cuts to international aid funding that has already been approved for 2025. This retraction of funding would be devastating to Project HOPE’s mission and the people we serve. Unfortunately, those global health and humanitarian aid cuts were passed by the House, and now, the Senate is preparing to vote on them.
This is our final chance to urge lawmakers to reject these funding cuts that would slash billions from essential programs that deliver lifesaving aid to people in need around the world.

These cuts aren’t just numbers on a spreadsheet. They represent vaccines for children, basic care for people displaced by war, clean water for families in crisis, and more.
This isn’t just a budget debate — it’s a matter of life and death for mothers, fathers, children, and entire communities. And we need your voice today.
Please, Friend, can we count on you to contact your Senators and urge them to reject these devastating funding cuts?
From maternal care and nutrition to disease prevention and clean water access, these budget cuts put so many lives in jeopardy. They would roll back U.S. leadership and decades of progress at a time when the world is facing rising conflict, displacement, climate emergencies, and global health threats. With so many lives on the line, we can’t afford to let that happen.

The Senate vote could happen at any time. That’s why your voice is so critical right now. Speaking out today can make all the difference in helping to ensure lifesaving aid reaches the families Project HOPE serves around the world.
I’ve been leading humanitarian response efforts for decades. I’ve seen firsthand the impact this funding has. I’ve been in the hospitals, clinics, and communities that depend on this funding to survive conflict, disaster, and disease. I know the consequences if it disappears. Without it, lives will be lost.
Please, don’t wait: Take action now by urging your Senators to reject these dangerous cuts to global health funding.

Your voice matters. With your help, we can remind our leaders that everyone deserves access to health, healing, and HOPE.
Thank you for speaking up and being a vital part of this movement.
With gratitude,
