Last month, Trump made a recission request to Congress asking them to defund NPR.

House Republicans passed it by a single vote but the Senate has still not voted on it, and time is on our side: the defunding request expires on Friday July 18, giving us one more week to stop this unpopular bill.

We've been building a coalition of diverse Generation Z voters who will become life-long voters for progress, but without independent media like NPR, young Americans will face a wave of disinformation and far-right radicalization.

After the first month of Trump's second term, we became the first organization to call for his impeachment. Our petition demanding Congress begin impeachment proceedings has reached thousands of signatures. Trump's attack on birthright citizenship and subversion of Congress's powers are blatantly unconstitutional and constitute high crimes and misdemeanors.
