Our nation’s largest anti-abortion voter contact program has made its way to Virginia. They are out in our communities, knocking on doors and working to mobilize against our attempts to ensure abortion access in the Virginia state constitution.

Just last week, Trump signed what amounts to a backdoor abortion ban into law through his One Big Terrible Bill, as it strips Medicaid funding away from Planned Parenthood and similar providers. Now, anti-choice extremists are taking things a step further by canvassing voters and attempting to block Virginia from being an abortion safe haven for millions of people across the South.

Republicans are going to do everything in their power to strip away our rights and restrict access – we cannot let them get away with it.

According to Virginia Mercury, the “largest pro-life voter contact program in the country” has sent a mass of people out across Richmond and Virginia Beach to influence voters to support candidates this fall who oppose our amendment to enshrine reproductive rights in the Virginia state constitution. They are here now, actively knocking on doors, and we need to fight back.

Anti-choice extremists see this November’s elections as their final shot to stop our movement for abortion access – and they are going to do everything in their power to strip away our rights and restrict access.

Here’s the harsh reality: Virginia is the last state in the South without a post-Roe abortion ban. Anti-abortion extremists know this, and we need to be ready for whatever they throw our way.

People across the South depend on VA for this necessary and sometimes lifesaving care, and now we have a chance to enshrine abortion rights into our constitution, but we need your help.
