John,
Did you catch my conversation on the Brogressive Podcast?

I talked about why I call myself an “abundance Democrat.” After reading Abundance by Ezra Klein and Derek Thompson, it gave a name to what I’ve seen for years in politics: the red tape and endless hoops that make progress harder than it needs to be.
But our district deserves better. We need someone in Congress who will fight for more housing, better transportation, and real economic opportunity — not someone who’s spent 30 years making excuses for why it can’t be done.
I know the federal government can’t dictate local zoning, but members of Congress can utilize funding and advocacy to help communities adopt policies that actually work. That’s how we make people believe in us again, instead of living in a scarcity mindset.
I believe a representative has three primary jobs: to legislate, advocate, and communicate. We need someone who will do all three effectively, something Congressman Sherman can’t say he’s done.
And if we’re ever going to change the status quo and get things done, I need your help. Chip in today and help power our campaign to an abundant future:
