Congressman Al Green to Address President Trump and Governor Abbott’s Unjust Mid-Decade Congressional Redistricting 

(Houston, TX)—On Friday, July 11, 2025, Congressman Al Green will host a press conference in response to President Donald Trump’s mandate requiring Governor Greg Abbott to call for a special session aimed at targeting Democratic Texas congressional members through mid-decade redistricting. 

Congressman Al Green stated, “Due to many press inquiries about the President’s desire to do mid-decade redistricting, I will respond to inquiries during tomorrow’s press conference. I will also have a special message for President Trump.”
