Join Families USA and health advocates from across the country for the 2026 Health Action Conference – the premier gathering of health policy leaders, community organizers, grassroots advocates and consumer voices working to build a health care system that puts people first.

Why this moment matters:
Last week, President Trump signed a harmful budget bill into law that poses a direct threat to health care access and equity. Among its impacts:
* 17 million people will lose coverage through Medicaid or the marketplaces.
* Millions more will face higher premiums, increased cost-sharing, and bureaucratic barriers.
* Services will be slashed, and vulnerable community institutions from rural hospitals and maternity wards to Planned Parenthood clinics and nursing homes will be at risk.
* Families across the country will also face economic hardship, food insecurity, and increased surveillance by immigration enforcement.
Why HAC 2026 matters:
The 2026 Health Action Conference is our opportunity to come together, assess the harm, strategize on how to mitigate the fallout and boldly chart a path forward.
