House Republicans just rammed through their so‑called “One Big, Beautiful Bill” and let’s be clear: This is one of the most dangerous attacks on working families we’ve seen yet.

This reckless legislation prioritizes tax breaks for the wealthy while gutting Medicaid, SNAP, and essential services for seniors, veterans, children, and working families.

I voted NO — because this bill leaves everyday Americans behind.

Thanks to Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans:

• 17 million Americans stand to lose their health insurance.
• SNAP faces the largest rollback in U.S. history, threatening food security for families and children.
• Thousands of jobs could be eliminated, including right here in Northwest Indiana.

It’s cruel, it’s reckless, and it’s exactly what happens when Donald Trump and Republicans hold the gavel in both chambers.
