For many, summer is a break. At Fulfillment Fund, it’s when the real work begins. Our College Access, College Success, and Career Readiness teams continue providing programming throughout the summer to ensure students are prepared to apply to college, successfully matriculate, and complete their degrees career-ready.
Our teams are on the ground year-round, guiding students from high school through college and into meaningful careers. But this summer, your support has become even more critical.
This summer, more than ever, is a Summer of Resilience.
Through transformative programs like Fulfillment Fund University, the Ready for College Summer Institute, and many more, our students take bold steps toward their futures, gaining knowledge, building confidence, and connecting with mentors who’ve walked this path before.
But this summer is different.
With nearly $350 billion in education cuts proposed, the future of Pell Grants—and our students who rely on them—is at serious risk. Recently passed legislation could remove nearly 10 percent of current Pell recipients from the program and reduce award amounts for countless others. These cuts would force more students to take on burdensome loans or abandon college altogether. For the students we serve, many of whom are the first in their families to attend college, this funding isn’t optional; it’s essential.
In addition, recent events in Los Angeles have left many of our students and their families facing fear and uncertainty. Attendance at in-person programs has dropped significantly—not because our students don’t care, but because showing up is harder than ever.
And yet, resilience prevails. We show up.
We’ve adapted quickly, meeting students exactly where they are with flexible, student-centered solutions that keep every door to college and career wide open. In a time of instability, Fulfillment Fund remains a steady presence and a trusted source of guidance, support, and opportunity.
This is when our students need us most.
With your support, we will keep showing up. We will keep helping students rise. And we will ensure no student is left behind.
Stand with our students. Support our Summer of Resilience.
