So now, Gun Owners of America is doing what weak-kneed Republicans couldn’t: We’re filing the One, Big, Beautiful Lawsuit to finish the job.

This is a once-in-a-generation legal opportunity. The Supreme Court upheld the NFA in 1937, but only as a tax law. Now that the tax has been slashed to zero, the constitutional legs it stood on have been ripped out from underneath it.

There’s nothing holding it up but bureaucratic overreach—and we’re going to tear it down.
