Saturday's General Meeting: #DefundThePolice

Our next general meeting of the chapter will be held Saturday, June 27th at 4pm. It will be conducted online over Zoom! At this meeting we'll be discussing the recent mass uprisings and the #BlackLivesMatter and #DefundThePolice movements. We'll also hear report-backs from our many committees and working-groups who have been organizing on the ground over the past few weeks. Finally, we will debate and vote on two resolutions regarding our electoral strategy and policy.

The Meeting Agenda

This meeting, we'll be debating these resolutions:

• Resolution 20-9: On Consolidating Electoral Efforts
• Resolution 20-8: Amending Candidate Endorsement Process

Members in good standing will vote through an online form shared during the meeting.

You are a member in good standing if you have paid national dues within the last year. If you can't remember if you've paid dues lately, pay or renew your national dues today (and pay monthly dues so you don't forget again!) You must renew your dues 30 minutes before the meeting in order to vote, so renew them now and fill out this membership update form to let us know!
