Back in April, the Trump Administration paused its sweeping tariffs to renegotiate “90 deals in 90 days” with U.S. trade partners –
that deadline is today, and the Administration has nothing to show for it.
They’ve failed to deliver on the promises of securing trade deals and lowering prices for everyday families. They’re just kicking the can down the road again while businesses and consumers are left in the lurch.
Trump is continuing to sow chaos and play games with our economy, resulting in uncertainty and higher prices.
But, rest assured that I am still at the forefront of this fight.
My bipartisan legislation to put authority over trade policy back in the hands of Congress – where it belongs – has gained support from my colleagues on both sides of the aisle, business owners, and more. But now, we need to see this work through to the end.
