Team,
When I first took office, I promised to work as hard as I possibly could to build a stronger and fairer New Jersey. Together, we’ve cut taxes for working families, strengthened public education, made record investments in affordable housing and job creation, and so much more.
Today, I’m proud to announce that I signed my final budget as Governor, which caps off an eight-year journey to turn our state around.
This budget will:
🏡 |
Provide record-high property tax relief |
🎒 |
Fund our schools at historic levels |
🏗️ |
Boost investments in highway and bridge projects |
👶 |
Maintain recent expansions of the Earned Income Tax Credit, the Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit, and the Child Tax Credit |
📱 |
Provide grants for schools that want to go entirely phone-free |
And we’re doing all of this while maintaining a $6.7 billion budget surplus.
This budget puts New Jersey’s families first and ensures that our economy will be strong for years to come. Will you show your support for my new budget by adding your name today?
Thanks for standing with me. Let’s continue to build a New Jersey that works for everyone.
— Phil
