The Texas Hill Country has been devastated by sudden, catastrophic flash floods—leaving behind heartbreaking loss, widespread damage, and unimaginable grief. Lives were tragically cut short, including those of families, summer campers, community leaders, and visitors from across Texas and the country.
But even in the darkest hours, the spirit of this community has shone brightly. Stories of courage, selflessness, and generosity are emerging from every corner of the Hill Country. That’s who we are—Texans who show up, lift one another up, and never quit.
My team and I have been coordinating closely with local, state, and federal partners to make sure help gets to where it’s needed most. We are working around the clock to provide timely resources, guidance, and support to those affected. If you or someone you know has been impacted, please contact our offices—we’re here to serve you.
We will mourn together. We will rebuild together. And we will prove once again why the Hill Country is one of the most extraordinary places in the greatest state, in the greatest nation on Earth.
God bless the Texas Hill Country.
