What drew me to the IE is what keeps me here: the strength and resilience of the community, especially in the face of major environmental challenges like worsening air quality, sprawling land use, inadequate public transportation, and the increasing impacts of drought, wildfire, and extreme heat.

My name is Renna, and I'm EnviroVoters' regional organizer in the Sierra Nevada. I'm always inspired by the tight-knit communities and beautiful natural spaces in my region, but it's not all beautiful views here. The Sierra faces critical issues like devastating wildfires, water pollution, and health impacts from mining projects.

Hi, I'm Pa Houa, the Central Valley regional organizer for EnviroVoters. My home in the Central Valley is the heart of California, the agricultural powerhouse of the nation, and a vibrant and diverse community rooted in Southeast Asian and Latino culture. Living here, I've experienced the many ways the climate crisis affects our community through air pollution, extreme heat, and water issues like drought and access to drinking water.
