For years, we’ve been calling on leaders to truly invest in Gen Z — that means supporting the right message AND the right leader to deliver that message — but they kept refusing to listen.

And now, much of the establishment is throwing obstacles in Zohran’s path, failing to show up and meet the people where they are, and have stayed silent while Zohran is giving Democrats a detailed playbook to secure long-term wins.

This campaign is meeting people where they are and literally walking the entire city to meet people in-person. Nearly 50,000 volunteers are knocking on doors across the boroughs, supported by a strong presence online and in traditional media. 

He’s mostly skipped the memes and is speaking directly and authentically to the most pressing needs of New Yorkers, creating his own engaging and informative videos that explain the cost-of-living pain points and what he plans to do to solve them.

Mamdani’s undeniably inspiring campaign directly fights the disillusionment and apathy that many young people feel toward politics. His candidacy is a breath of fresh air at a time when we needed hope, and this race is a chance for establishment leaders to show young people, who are so often asked to put our candidate issues to the side and vote in the name of a greater good, that they have our backs too.
