John,

Last week, the U.S. Supreme Court finally handed down its highly anticipated decision regarding the Trump Administration’s efforts to terminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program – for now, DACA is protected and nearly 700,000 recipients are safe from deportation.

But these young people, brought here as infants and children and who often know no other home, deserve a long-term solution. That’s why we urgently need to pass a clean DREAM Act that provides Dreamers with a pathway to citizenship – legislation that has been proposed but put on hold time and again amidst the gridlock in Congress.

It’s clear that DC is broken, John, and we need new leaders who will step up and do the right thing for these hard-working young people.

If elected to Congress this November, I’m committed to supporting the DREAM Act and finally getting it passed so that Dreamers no longer have to live their lives in fear or legal limbo.

If you’re with me and want a representative for Southwest Washington who’s willing to fight for Dreamers, pitch in $10 or whatever you can to support our campaign today.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Together, we can stand with Dreamers and ensure they never again have to fear being forced out of the country they call home.

Thanks,

Carolyn
