Dear Judicial Watch Member,
Knowing your interest in Judicial Watch’s
work, I want to report to you on some very good news that we have received
recently!
First, the Trump Justice
Department has filed a “statement of interest” in
Judicial Watch’s lawsuit against Oregon over that
state’s failure to clean its voter rolls of ineligible voters as
required by federal law.
This is big news…because since 2012, Judicial Watch has been
doing the work that the Department of Justice should be doing but has
failed to do, leaving the heavy lifting of suing states over
“dirty” voter rolls up to Judicial Watch alone.
Our lawsuits and other legal actions have removed over 5
MILLIONineligible voters …and eliminated over 5
MILLION opportunities for voter fraud…from voter rolls across
the country.
It is a big step forward that the second Trump administration is joining
with us…and at this exciting time, I would be very grateful if you
would join with us too!
Second, just this week I put up a post on X
suggesting that Harmeet K. Dhillon, head of the Civil Rights
Division at the Justice Department, should ask the Hollywood
studios and the Oscars about their race, sex and other discrimination in
hiring for movies.
Ms. Dhillon responded promptly, saying she is open to digging into the
Academy’s quota requirements, which say that “Best
Picture” winners have to show a diverse cast and storyline, with an
emphasis on LGBT, race and disabilities.
Judicial Watch is a national leader in fighting against racist
woke DEI policies and for our color-blind
U.S. Constitution. It is gratifying that a senior Trump
Justice Department official appears ready to take on DEI
in Hollywood, as they already have in higher education,
notably Harvard University.
Of course, we are still facing big challenges!
For example, on Tuesday this week we were in federal court here in
Washington for a hearing regarding our Freedom of Information
Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the National Archives and
Records Administration (NARA) over the release of Biden
family travel andfinance records.
We had to file this lawsuit because NARA has stonewalled us over our
lawful request to see these records…and share them with the American
people!
So, our fight against the “permanent government”
continues, even as we see promising signs from the Trump administration
on other fronts.
I would be very grateful if you
would help us with a tax-deductible gift at this time, so that we
don’t miss a beat in fighting for you, for the rule of law and for
government transparency.
Thank you in advance for joining with us!
Sincerely,
Thomas Fitton President
