What we hear sometimes:

John, have you been following our efforts to build up the regional office budget through our Forever Organizing Fund?

Sometimes our supporters will reach out to us and ask why we are fundraising for things like regional offices over a year before the election. Sometimes they will say they only like to donate a few weeks before an election.

And we get it. Politics can be exhausting in this era of Donald Trump, and fundraising isn’t particularly glamorous.

But, we’ve proven time and time again that we can defy the odds and win elections by mobilizing early. In 2024, we flipped three seats from red to blue because our Forever Organizing Program had regional offices up and running a year early (in 2023). Now, in 2025, we are working to build the same momentum for the midterms next year. Will you pitch in $35 to help fund regional offices? We still need to raise another $3,999.50.

Sometimes we also face another problem, John:

When we try to raise money for things like regional offices, field organizers, literature, and more, supporters will question why California is worth investing in.

A donor recently pointed out that Kamala Harris won the state decisively in 2024. So, why do we need regional offices?

Here’s the thing: While statewide we do tilt blue, there are more “tossup” and “lean” U.S. House districts in California than ANY other state.

That means that on Election Night, control of the U.S. House very often comes down to these purple seats in California. We were able to deliver three red to blue flips in 2024, but because Democrats lost seats in other states, we didn’t take back the U.S. House.

Now we are ready to finish the job by defending all our vulnerable incumbents and flipping more seats. But a key part of that strategy is opening up regional offices, and right now our budget is still $3,999.50 short. Will you pitch in a donation?
