To commemorate the 35th Anniversary of the ADA on July 26, 2025, the Minnesota Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities is pleased to present new and historical resources. Joseph Shapiro, investigative reporter for National Public Radio, and author of the book, "_No Pity: People with Disabilities Forging a New Civil Rights Movement_", provides his perspective on the 35th anniversary. Yoshiko Dart, shared photos of the ADA tour to all 50 states with her husband, Justin Dart.

Justin Dart White Light Presents [ [link removed] ]

A 25-minute video about Justin Dart’s leadership in passing the ADA produced by White Light Communications is also presented. The Council produced 31 segments of ADA history in collaboration with the ADA Legacy Project in 2015, and we invite viewers to visit those archived stories.
