Team, a new report shows that Virginia's unemployment rate has increased for five straight months. Not since the Great Recession have we experienced a streak this long.

Everywhere I go, I hear from Virginia workers and families affected by these job cuts.

But they aren't just numbers on a spreadsheet. They're moms and dads who have bills to pay and kids to feed.

My opponent, Winsome Earle-Sears, cheers on what the White House has been doing — taking a chainsaw to Virginia jobs. She says "do not fret" to laid-off federal workers as her administration provides nothing more to help than guidance on how to update your resume. In many cases, these are career public servants whose livelihoods have just been decimated.

It's totally unacceptable.

Clearly, she's going to keep running a slash-and-burn campaign that plays on people's fears and promotes disinformation.

As a top supporter, I need your help to reach voters with the truth and win at the ballot box.

Will you make a contribution today? Donations of all amounts help us set the record straight and keep our focus on lowering costs and creating opportunities for every Virginian.
