So many stupid things happened last week, but I wanted to reach out to make sure you saw something that might've flown under the radar.

To distract from the bullsh*t budget he signed into law last Friday, Trump also spent time bullying trans folks. 🤡

He's been trying to draw attention away from the fact that he's ripping health care away from 17 million people to pay for tax cuts for the rich, so he's holding funding hostage here and there to get everyone to gang up on trans athletes. It's just wrong.

I support the trans community, especially trans folks in PA. That isn't being "woke." It’s being decent. It's respecting every person – *including* folks in the LGBTQIA+ community.

👉 I won’t back down while Trump tries to bully trans folks to wage his culture wars. If you agree that we should leave our trans friends and neighbors the hell alone, will you sign my petition now?

As a former college offensive tackle, I know how hard student athletes work in the gym, on the field, or in the pool to prep for that next game or race. I know how hard these young people work to balance their sports and their schoolwork.

Believe me, it's not for the faint of heart.

So it's nothing short of ridiculous to see Trump and Republicans throwing these folks under the bus.

Banning trans students from sports doesn't do anything except make our schools more hateful and divisive.

And now, almost as if Trump planned it himself, two cases about trans athletes' ability to play in college sports are headed to the Supreme Court. So the clock has started.

My team and I launched this petition, and we want to get 10,000 signatures by midnight to show our trans friends and neighbors that we got their backs. Will you take 10 seconds to sign now?
