Donald Norcross

Hey there,

The U.S. Supreme Court delivered a huge victory to advocates for LGBTQIA+ equality this month -- but the work isn't over yet.

In a landmark 6-3 decision, SCOTUS reaffirmed that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 extends protection to LGBTQIA+ workers. These critical protections come three years after Donald urged then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions to protect the rights of LGBTQIA+ employees, and over a year after the House passed the Equality Act to strengthen federal nondiscrimination protections.

Everyone deserves to feel safe in their workplace no matter who they are or who they love -- but LGBTQIA+ Americans still don't have the same rights as everyone else in other critical spheres of public and private life:

LGBTQ Protections

We still need The Equality Act, friend. It's past time for the Senate to vote on this comprehensive piece of legislation to fully end LGBTQIA+ discrimination in education, public accommodations, and more. Join Donald in telling Mitch McConnell: Stand up for LGBTQIA+ rights NOW.

The Supreme Court victory gives us much to celebrate this Pride month. But we need to keep putting pressure on McConnell and his obstructionist Senate to grant LGBTQIA+ Americans the full, lived equality they so rightfully deserve. It's great to not lose your job because of how you identify -- but you can still be kicked out of your favorite restaurant or expelled from school simply because of who you are.

For our friends. For our neighbors. For those who have been fighting for so long. For the next generation. For all of us -- we need to ensure equality for all Americans. Please, add your name today if you want the Senate to pass The Equality Act now >>

Thank you,

Team DN
