[link removed] [[link removed]]Hi, I'm David Berrios, Vice President of Organizing and Campaigns for Reproductive Freedom for All.

I'd like to tell you about something we did recently, and why I'm really excited about what it means for our movement.

But first, as an organizer, I want to invite you to get involved with us. No matter your schedule, skill set, or experience, there's a place for you in our movement. [[link removed]]

In June, we brought over 100 volunteers, activists, and community leaders from all over the country together in DC for our first ever Activist Summit.

For four days, volunteers attended strategic trainings, met with lawmakers to advocate for reproductive freedom policies, and connected with other activists.

This was one of the biggest investments in organizing we've ever made.

The Activist Summit helped volunteers deepen their leadership skills, learn about policy priorities, and return home ready to mobilize in their own communities.

Most importantly, it gave us the chance to connect with one another. I saw firsthand how activists from all over the country formed relationships and reinforced their commitment to the work.

We also held a vigil to honor lives lost because of abortion bans. These heartbreaking stories remind us that behind every policy, there are families, providers, and communities impacted by extremists' abortion bans.

Building a movement starts with building relationships.

Our best defense against the Trump administration's attacks on reproductive freedom is a nationwide network of activists and volunteers prepared to speak up and take action.
