Trump's spending bill is considered one of the largest transfers of wealth from the working class to the rich. It's set to kick 12 million Americans off of their health insurance plans and nearly 2 million off of supplemental nutrition benefits.
2️⃣ When do cuts start?
Over the next 10 years, Kansas stands to lose as much as $3.9 billion in Medicaid funding, with hospitals losing $2.65 billion in funding. Access to Kansas SNAP benefits is set to decrease drastically in less than TWO years.
3️⃣ Who did this?
Nearly every Republican in Congress voted for this bill—even those who said they WOULD NOT support cuts to programs like SNAP and Medicaid, like Senators Moran and Marshall…
4️⃣ Why???
Trump's spending bill gives tax breaks to his wealthiest friends, and to claw back some of the money, he's slashing lifesaving services for hundreds of thousands of Kansans (and millions more across the country).
