I’m fired up, John.

We just kicked off our 2025 Democracy Summer Fellowship here in California’s 49th District, and I couldn’t be more inspired by the passion, energy, and leadership we’re already seeing from these young organizers.
 
This six-week program trains and empowers the next generation of Democratic organizers, giving them hands-on experience canvassing, phone banking, and mobilizing voters in competitive districts like CA-49. It’s the kind of opportunity I would have jumped at when I was in high school or college.

Thanks to your continued support, we’ve welcomed our largest class yet – a diverse and driven group of students ready to roll up their sleeves and fight for voting rights, climate action, and our democracy.

These students aren’t just watching democracy happen, they’re building it.
