John,
The ink is barely dry on Trump’s “Big Ugly Bill,” and already working families are paying the price. In Nebraska, hospitals are shuttering.[1] In every state, families are bracing for food assistance cuts. Yet, billionaires are partying with the $4 trillion tax handout—mostly benefiting the rich, paid for by slashing Medicaid, SNAP, and public services.
This is a manifesto for billionaire rule.
This law delivers nearly 25% of its massive tax cuts directly to the top 1%. That’s $1 trillion flowing into the pockets of those making over $1 million per year.[2] Medicaid is slashed by more than $1 trillion, risking the health coverage of up to 17 million people. SNAP is cut by hundreds of billions, affecting millions of families already struggling with grocery prices.
The bizarre list of corporate giveaways is practically surreal. Gun silencers are now tax-free.[3] Spaceport construction can be funded with tax-exempt bonds. States that make the most mistakes in delivering food stamps get rewarded with exemptions. Rep. Andrew Clyde, who sells gun silencers at his store and inserted the “Hitman Tax Break” in the bill, also demanded even deeper cuts to Medicaid.
We’re naming names. We’re putting them on notice. We’re bringing the fight to their doorstep. So please make a donation right now to fund the research, organizing, and direct pressure we need to expose the lawmakers who gutted Medicaid and SNAP just to line the pockets of billionaires.
We’ve seen what these cuts do. Rural hospitals are the canary in the coal mine. Almost half of them were already losing money before this bill. Now, with Medicaid gutted, they’re in free fall.
Many hospitals have to eliminate services like labor and delivery or emergency care. Others are closing altogether. These hospitals serve over 16 million rural Americans, including 50% of all rural births.
This bill even repeals clean energy incentives and ends student debt relief, all to help fund the windfall going to the ultra-wealthy.
Billionaires and corporations are laughing all the way to the bank. This is the dystopia Trump’s allies wanted and got.
We can’t undo the law right away. But we can make sure voters know exactly who sold them out. Our campaign is tracking every vote, exposing every donor, and pushing every piece of this corrupt legislation into the national spotlight. Please make a donation to keep the pressure on.

John,
Donald Trump and Republicans have passed their monstrous tax-and-budget law, the “Big Ugly Bill”, that will go down in history as one of the most extreme and devastating attacks ever on working families, rural communities, and the basic functions of government.
It hands out $4 trillion in tax breaks, which mostly benefit the richest 1%, while slashing vital public services—and it includes provisions so twisted you’d think it was satire. But it’s not. It’s the law now. And it’s already closing hospitals.[1]
Community Hospital in McCook, Nebraska, a facility in a rural county that voted 84% for Trump, is shutting its doors after citing the GOP's brutal Medicaid cuts. Six more hospitals in the state are on the brink. Nationally, over 760 rural hospitals are in danger of full closure or drastic service cuts due to $1 trillion in Medicaid rollbacks.[2]
Altogether, nearly 17 million Americans could lose health coverage.[3] And while these communities suffer, Republicans are celebrating their “victory” alongside billionaire donors and corporate lobbyists.
This is the moral rot we’re up against. And we’re fighting back. Power our nationwide campaign to hold every single lawmaker accountable, name by name, district by district. Rush a donation today.
Let’s talk about the bizarre stuff they buried deep inside this bill. They eliminated a 90-year-old tax on gun silencers, the preferred tool of hitmen.[4] Why? Because Rep. Andrew Clyde, a Georgia Republican who owns a gun store that sells silencers, demanded it.
Somehow, there’s more. Want to build a spaceport? Good news, the Big Ugly Bill lets local governments issue tax-exempt bonds for that. Are you an oil giant? Congratulations, you’ll face zero new taxes on your drilling. Want to open a for-profit Christian school in a state that banned public funding of religious institutions? This bill funnels tax dollars to you, no questions asked.
Some provisions are only too predictable. Clean energy tax credits for wind and solar are gone. Student loan relief is rolled back. SNAP is slashed by $300 billion. And the price tag? Up to $3 trillion added to the deficit. A $5 trillion debt ceiling hike. All to make sure billionaires can hoard even more untaxed wealth. All to let corporate lobbyists gut what’s left of our social contract.
We need your help to make sure every American knows exactly who did this. Every last one who voted to cut Medicaid, slash food aid, hand tax breaks to billionaires, and make gun silencers tax-free.
We’re exposing them in their districts and in the press. But we can’t do it without the resources to scale this work fast.
