 John, On July 4th, Donald Trump signed his so-called “Big, Beautiful Bill” into law—the bill that guts health care, food assistance, clean energy, and more to pay for massive tax giveaways for the ultra-rich. All while it drives up trillions in new debt and jacks up energy costs. Make no mistake, this bill will leave people sicker, hungrier, and struggling to get by. It’s morally bankrupt—and every single Republican who voted for it should buckle up to hear from their voters at the polls. I know we can take back the House. And the fight to do that starts right here, in PA-17. I’m the only Democrat in a battleground seat in Pennsylvania, so if we don’t hold the line here, we risk losing the fight altogether.
Polls show that 55% of voters opposed this bill. Yet Republicans rammed it through—it barely passed in the House and in the Senate! The message from voters couldn’t be more obvious: we don’t want this. But Republicans ignored us—and now they need to be held accountable. I’m determined to show Republicans that this bill isn’t just unpopular, it’s bad politics and it’s going to help Democrats take back the House and put an end to Trump’s agenda.
