One of the best political lessons I’ve ever learned was from you. The lesson? When people keep pushing, when they don’t back down from the fight, we win. Time and time again, this people-powered movement has stepped up to the fight. During Donald Trump’s first term, we successfully beat back the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. We need to build the support to hold him accountable this time. Right now, our fundamental freedoms — reproductive rights, voting rights, Medicaid and Social Security — are under constant attack by extreme Republicans who will stop at nothing to turn back the clock on progress.
