As I'm writing this, Maine Republicans are gearing up their campaign to make it harder for rural, senior, and working Mainers to vote. They're funding a voter suppression referendum with big out-of-state money that is on our ballots THIS November.

This referendum could result in a loss of 13,000 Democratic votes across the state; therefore, it's not an exaggeration to say that the future of Maine Democrats is at stake.

We're seeing what Republican leadership looks like, John, and we deserve better. They know we have momentum on our side, so they want to take away our ability to make our voices heard.
