Team, last week, my Republican colleagues passed the worst piece of legislation in modern history — their “Big, Beautiful Bill.” Budgets are moral documents — this is an immoral bill.

I voted NO.

There is nothing beautiful about enacting massive cuts to crucial programs like Medicaid and SNAP to funnel money to America’s billionaire class.

My office is getting hundreds of calls. My constituents are frightened and rightly so:

17 million Americans, 300,000 Pennsylvanians, will lose healthcare coverage.

42 million Americans, 600,000 Pennsylvanians, will be deprived of food assistance programs.

At this moment, I want to reiterate that I will never stop fighting back. I am using every single inch of my minority power in Congress to hold my GOP colleagues accountable to YOU. I will also do everything in my power to provide timely updates, resources, and information so you know what is happening.

I pray that Republicans rediscover a sense of reality, duty, and commitment to country. I hope they reclaim their backbone — and their conscience — not for themselves or for me, but for the sake of families across America.
