Almost one year ago, I wrote you an email about Donald Trump’s promise to America’s oil executives: If they dumped $1 billion into his presidential campaign, he’d roll environmental law back to the 1970s.

Well, unfortunately, for the first time in his life, Donald Trump kept his word.

His catastrophic budget bill has dragged America back to the environmental dark ages:

When you’re writing the words “recission of funding to address air pollution at schools,” you’re on the wrong side of history.

There’s only one possible outcome from here. There WILL be an historic environmental catastrophe, and it WILL be Donald Trump’s fault; the only questions are when, where, and how bad?

So, what can we do about it?

Regrettably, I can’t wave a magic wand and remove Donald Trump from the White House.

But I can tell you that only a strong Climate Majority in Congress can stop the bleeding and repair the extraordinary damage he’s done.

Unfortunately, I don’t have $1 billion of fossil fuel cash burning a hole in my pocket. I'm counting on the power of this Climate Coalition to defend my seat, flip the House, and continue holding mega-polluters accountable in Congress.
