Last week, House Republicans passed Donald Trump’s Big Ugly Bill — the most dangerous and immoral bill I have seen in my time in Congress.
No one should be forced to lose health care, go hungry, or see their child priced out of college in order to fund permanent tax cuts for Republican donors and the ultra-wealthy. That’s why I want to hear from you.

This bill strips health care from 17 million people, slashes food aid for families by 20%, adds more to the debt than any bill in history, spikes energy bills by 30%, and guts U.S. clean energy — and it doesn’t stop there.
Meanwhile, they are spending billions to massively expand ICE detention and deportation operations, giving them a bigger budget than the entire Canadian military. There's nothing fiscally responsible about this bill, but they will do anything to put their extreme agenda and the wealthy ahead.
I came to Congress to fight for the people I serve, not to sell them out to further enrich the ultra-wealthy. I will do everything in my power to shield New Yorkers from the harm of this cruel and reckless bill.
