Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has launched a wave of brutal raids across Los Angeles by ripping workers from their homes, shutting down entire neighborhoods, and throwing immigrant families into chaos. Local businesses are shuttered, and an influential labor leader was arrested for peacefully protesting. Whole communities have become “ghost towns” as people avoid schools, hospitals, and even the streets.1
If that weren’t enough, Donald Trump has invoked the Insurrection Act to send in National Guard troops and the Marines to intimidate and suppress peaceful protesters standing up for immigrant rights. It’s a chilling escalation that recalls some of our country’s darkest chapters—and it’s happening right now, in plain sight.
It’s time for the Senate to act and uphold our Constitutional right to protest peacefully. Send a direct message to the Senate demanding that they end ICE raids and stop the military escalation against protestors.

ICE agents have brutalized bystanders and used unchecked violence during raids.2 Protesters are being kettled, harassed, and surveilled. And despite calls for restraint, Trump has escalated the situation by sidestepping California Governor Gavin Newsom—sending troops to flood Los Angeles in a chilling show of force.
This is not leadership—it’s government-sponsored terror.
We’re joining our coalition partners and allies in demanding that ICE end workplace raids and military force against our communities and that Congress reject any more increases to ICE funding in upcoming appropriations negotiations. Already, passage of the Big Ugly Bill has turned ICE into the largest “law” enforcement agency in the U.S.3
We’ve seen where this road leads. We refuse to be silent as immigrant communities are terrorized and protest is criminalized.
Send a message to the Senate telling them to end the ICE raids and the military escalation toward protestors now.
