DON'T BELIEVE THE NIH HYPE.
Taxpayer, this week, Acting NIH Deputy Director Nicole Kleinstreuer announced, “NIH will no longer seek proposals exclusively for animal models."
While legacy animal rights groups are cheering the move and falsely claiming “Millions of Animals Will Be Spared,” the new NIH announcement doesn't cut a single animal lab or save a single animal.
In fact, the NIH has not said it won’t accept or fund proposals that only include animal testing. It will continue to fund animal labs, it just won’t solicit experiments asking exclusively for animal testing (as it has sometimes in the past).
There is no NIH prohibition or restriction on funding animal testing.
Trump and RFK want the $48 billion NIH budget slashed by 40 percent, but instead the agency just keeps spending new money on animal labs. Kleinstreuer herself recently defiantly doubled down and said, “We have no intention of just phasing out animal studies overnight. We know that animal studies are still very important and often scientifically justified.”
However, Bhattacharya's NIH has been starting up brand new dog and cat labs overnight. White Coat Waste investigations have exposed how the NIH is also renewing millions in Fauci-era payouts to labs where beagles are force-fed experimental drugs, injected with cocaine, and infested with ticks, and where cats have their eyes sewn shut and are infected with COVID.
Meanwhile, Trump agencies like the Pentagon, Department of Veterans Affairs, and EPA are cutting and banning wasteful animal experiments following White Coat Waste investigations, and the FDA has released a phase-out timeline for animal tests.
Bhattacharya's NIH is the black sheep and a big disappointment. Legacy animal rights groups have been captured by the NIH. These groups are giving NIH a pass while the agency doles out millions for animal torture in labs around the world.
The NIH is addicted to spending. We have the cure:
Stop the Money. Stop The Madness!
