Last week, the Trump regime’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” was signed into law. This budget reconciliation bill clearly shows where the priorities of the Trump regime and the GOP who ran with it are – and it’s not pretty.
Among other terrible things, this bill includes the largest ever cuts to Medicaid and SNAP, which will result in tens of millions of people across the nation losing access to healthcare and food assistance. It is arguably the worst bill to ever be passed in U.S. history – and the kicker? According to Axios, many of the bill's massive impacts won’t take effect until after the 2026 midterm elections.
It’s no secret that this bill is wildly unpopular. During this process, Republicans avoided facing their constituents by canceling public events, including town halls, depriving voters of the opportunity to make their voices heard. Republicans then went and voted to slash a trillion dollars in funding from Medicaid, add trillions to the national debt, and more, in order to give massive tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy.
Now, Republicans in Congress are hoping that American voters will forget what they did. We’re not going to let that happen.
Trump’s Big Un-beautiful Bill will have real-life consequences for the people of Pennsylvania, and the elected officials who voted for it must be held accountable.
