Dear friends,
it's still possible to register for our TownHall Meeting, happening tomorrow, July 10th at 6.30 pm CEST online on Zoom.
You can register using this link.
After the incredible show of collective resistance at #BudapestPride, we have once again proven that together, we can achieve great things—just as we have been advocating for over 30 years. However, while this moment of civil courage is truly inspiring, we cannot indulge ourselves in too much celebration. Despite the temporary halt on the harmful “Transparency of Public Life” bill, there is still the strong possibility that it will be enacted this autumn, posing a serious threat to Hungarian civil society and fundamental EU values.
That’s why it’s so important for us to make the most of these next few weeks. We need to build on the momentum we started together in May and unite in opposition to any attempts to silence and restrict civil society. We invite everyone in our Network to join us online—to connect, share ideas, and strategize on how best to respond - because our voices are stronger together.
Additionally, we have developed several practical proposals to guide our next steps, which we have summarized in the following Agenda:
•

𝗛𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗱𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲
•

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁: 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
•

𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 & 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹
•

𝗘𝗨 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗪𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲
