Team –

Tomorrow is Primary Day in Kentucky. In 2018, there were 3,700 polling places in Kentucky. Now, the day before the primary in one of the most important elections of our lifetime, less than 200 polling places will remain open.

But it gets even worse. Half of Black Kentuckians live in Jefferson County. Right now, there are 600,000+ registered voters in that county alone. And for those 600,000 voters, there's only one polling site. One.

Friend, limiting polling places to this degree will make it harder for people to vote. In a democracy that is supposed to be for and by the people, we should not tolerate any actions that will suppress voter turnout.

We are keeping #AllEyesOnKentucky.

Here's how you can make sure Black voices are heard tomorrow and in November:

  1. Help register over a quarter of a million Black voters. Rush support to our voter registration effort by making a donation today.
  2. Join our Get Out The Vote effort! Text voters and volunteer to help elect Black leaders, like Kentucky Senate candidate Charles Booker, and make sure every voice is heard on Election Day.

DONATE
VOLUNTEER

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell knows Black voters have the power to elect his potential opponent Charles Booker, flip the Senate, and usher in the next wave of Black political leaders. That's why he and other right-wing politicians have worked to suppress our vote. But today, we're fighting back.

If we're going to build power, hold leaders accountable, and strengthen our democracy – we have to vote. Rush a donation to help us register Black voters, and join our GOTV effort. Together, we will win.

Thank you,

The Collective Team
