The work continues in our lawsuit to stop President Trump and Defense Secretary Hegseth from unlawfully federalizing the California National Guard, and I wanted you to hear an update directly from me: 

Approximately 4,000 California National Guard servicemembers have been federalized and 700 Marines have been deployed to LA — diverting service members from critical work, including fighting the flow of fentanyl into our communities and responding to wildfires. 

This case is ongoing, and we are confident that the law is on our side. We will continue making our case in court, and we hope to prevail.

As long as President Trump keeps breaking the law, I will keep taking him to court.
