This weekend, Trump’s now-thoroughly-politicized Social Security
Administration lied to 71 million Social Security recipients over email
about the Republican tax bill Trump signed Friday.

The email, directly from the government, falsely claimed that Trump’s bill
eliminates taxes on Social Security benefits. It doesn’t.

What it does do is funnel trillions of dollars to billionaires while
slashing Medicaid, food for kids, veterans benefits, and clean energy
funding. Republicans in Congress knew this was a terrible bill – many of
them said so – and they voted for it anyway.

THERE MUST BE ACCOUNTABILITY.
