We hope you had a nice 4th of July celebration. We hope you unplugged a bit, took a breath, watched the fireworks, and ate good food with good friends.

But now it’s time to get back to work.

While we were celebrating this democracy that has survived for nearly 250 years, Donald Trump and his MAGA minions were busy trying to take it away. It’s happening in plain view. They’re going state by state, school by school, seat by seat.

And they aren’t stopping until our democracy becomes an oligarchy.
