Victory is within reach!

Seattle Public Schools has officially begun the process of firing Ian Golash, the teacher who defended Hamas and demanded “proof” that Israeli women were raped.

When Accuracy in Media confronted Golash face-to-face, he doubled down, saying the murder of women at the October 7 music festival was “justified.”  As he came outside, he brought several students with him to confront our cameras.  His students weren’t surprised.  Some pointed to his criminal arrest record for harassment and assault.

Thanks to you, our mobile billboards (more than once!), and the 13,188 emails sent by activists, AIM forced this story into the national spotlight.  Even Golash’s father admitted in a Facebook post that the termination was triggered by AIM’s billboard campaign outside the school.  Seattle media and school leaders couldn’t ignore the pressure.

First came the suspension.  Now, the termination process is officially underway.  Golash has appealed the decision, but make no mistake: this is what happens when radical behavior is exposed and accountability is demanded.
