Dear Friend of Israel,

As Iran's economy

deteriorates, the regime continues to spend billions of dollars backing terrorists and working on its nuclear program.‬

Over the weekend, Hezbollah, Iran's terrorist army in Lebanon,

threatened to strike strategic sites in Israel with precise accuracy.

And last week, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors

demanded that Iran stop its stonewalling as the IAEA works to investigate Iran's suspected nuclear sites.

Below, I have included a video of AIPAC's Managing Director for Policy and Politics Arne Christenson breaking down recent developments regarding Iran's nuclear program.

Sincerely,

Brian Shankman

Director of Regional Affairs and Development
The 2020 elections are less than five months away. All 435 House seats, 35 Senate seats, and the executive branch are up for grabs.

Since 2008, 70% of Congress has changed. Over 100 new members of Congress took office in the last election cycle alone. This massive turnover requires constant planning and work to build meaningful relationships with viable candidates long before their election. Your support of AIPAC helps make that happen.

AIPAC is working to hold meetings with every viable congressional candidate to ensure incoming lawmakers are educated early on about the U.S.-Israel relationship.

Iran Defies the International Atomic Energy Agency: The IAEA’s Latest Iran Safeguards Report David Albright, Sarah Burkhard, Frank Pabian and Andrea Stricker

After several months of trying to gain Iran’s cooperation and access to two suspected nuclear sites, the International Atomic Energy Agency released a report on June 5 confirming that Iran has been stonewalling inspectors.

"The Agency notes with serious concern that, for over four months, Iran has denied access to the Agency, under Article 4.b.(i) and Article 5.c of the Additional Protocol, to two locations and, for almost a year, has not engaged in substantive discussions to clarify Agency questions related to the possible undeclared nuclear material and nuclear-related activities in Iran," the report finds.
