Nellie was focused on delivering for New Jersey last month — as she has been each of the last six months since she took office. Here's what we got up to:

* Nellie fought tooth and nail to try to eliminate the Congressional Republican cap on state and local tax deduction, which is so important to New Jersey localities and taxpayers.


* Nellie was recognized by the NJ State AFL-CIO for her record of service on behalf of working Americans.


* Nellie fought for new funding for the National Firefighter Cancer Registry to make sure our firefighters get the care and support they deserve for keeping our communities safe.


* Hosted a roundtable of local community groups to understand how massive budget cuts planned by this administration would impact our neighbors.



We also officially welcomed Morghan Cyr as Nellie's Campaign Manager. We're excited to continue growing our campaign from the ground up so we can put Nellie in the best possible position to protect her seat and keep on delivering for working families.
