Featured Funding OpportunitiesNational Endowment for the Humanities: A More Perfect UnionOn July 4, 2026, America will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. In 2019, NEH launched "A More Perfect Union." This special initiative leverages the humanities to promote a deeper understanding of America’s history and culture, advance civics education and knowledge of the nation’s core principles of government and preserve and provide access to the nation’s heritage.Click here to learn more about funding opportunities, special initiatives, and other national programs.NYS Water Infrastructure Improvement (WIIA) Program and Intermunicipal Water Infrastructure Grants (IMG) ProgramThe WIIA Program provides competitive grants to help municipalities affordably undertake critical wastewater and drinking water infrastructure projects.The IMG Program is available for both drinking water and wastewater projects that serve multiple municipalities, such as a shared water quality infrastructure project or the interconnection of multiple municipal water systems.Applications are due by 5 p.m. on September 12. EFC will hold a webinar at 10 a.m. on July 11 to share information about this round and how to apply. Advance registration is required.Any community that needs assistance with its water infrastructure is encouraged to contact the Community Assistance Teams.Fiscal Year 2025 Grant Opportunities from the Office on Violence Against WomenThe Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) provides federal leadership in developing the nation's capacity to reduce violence against women and administer justice for and strengthen services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. This year’s report outlines major achievements in regional sustainability, economic development, data and mapping services, water quality, and human services. Highlights include new studies on housing affordability and land use change, population and school enrollment projections, and expanded tools to support planning at the local level.In 2024, CDRPC also helped communities secure over $2 million in clean energy funding and provided critical technical assistance for land use planning, climate action, and infrastructure improvements.
